Secret Essay Contest

Secret wants to know....."How does Girls on the Run make you fearless?"
All current Girls on the Run participants are encouraged to enter the Fall 2011-Spring 2012 Secret Essay Contest. Submit your essay on "how Girls on the Run makes you fearless" for a chance to win $500 and $3500 for our local Girls on the Run Council. Contest details, rules and entry form are below - entries must be postmarked by April 30th.
You could win $500, and $3500 for your Girls on the Run® Council!
Many will enter, few will win.
No purchase necessary.
Secret® will award $500 to ten (10) girls and $3,500 to the corresponding ten (10) Girls on the Run® Councils indicated on the winning entries. Open only to girls who are residents of the 50 United States and Washington, DC, and who are registered participants in Girls on the Run® for the Spring 2012 season OR were registered participants in the Girls on the Run® Fall 2011 season and are currently enrolled in 3 rd through 8th grades.
There will be six winners from Grades 3-5 and four winners from Grades 6-8.
Your Essay will be judged on the following criteria:
1. Creativity and Originality (40%)
2. Inspirational value of Essay (25%)
3. Appropriateness to Contest Theme (35%)

As a national sponsor, Horizon Fitness would like to recognize a Girls on the Run Coach of the Year. Submissions are being accepted through June 15th (entries must be postmarked by June 15th).
